- Unavailable_after: [date]: indicates to the robot that the page should not appear in the results after the indicated date
SEO Tips on robots.txt file:
- Google has downloaded the robots.txt file on average once every 24 hours since 2000. So any changes you make in robolts.txt will reflect within 24 hours.
- If a URL has been indexed by Google, then blocking it in robots.txt will not change anything.
- To deindex a URL, you must authorize its crawl and use a robots noindex meta tag. You can also request to delete the URL in Google Search Console.

The first thing we will need is to know what type of errors our website currently has in the eyes of Google (and how many). To do this, we will have to access our Search Console account and click on the side menu section ‘Tracking’> ‘Tracking Errors’

Site errors
They are tracking errors that affect the entire web and not specific addresses. If you have not had any problems in the last 90 days, you will have a green ‘check’ next to its corresponding section.
If instead you had an error, it could be any of these:
DNS errors
This problem means that Google is not being able to access your website due to a connection error caused by DNS, either a timeout or a bad configuration of these.
How to solve it?

First, we have to make sure that we really have a robots.txt file created and it is located in the correct url (http://yourdomain.com/robots.txt). If so, we will have to check that it is correctly configured and we are not blocking Google robots on necessary pages or even the entire domain.
URL errors
They are crawling errors that do not affect the website as a whole, but the specific URLs. One can have different types of these errors:
Minor 404 errors
It occurs when a URL on the web no longer exists or cannot be found by robots. But, at the same time, the HTTP header of that address is indicating that the page is being displayed correctly.
How do I solve it?
The best solution is to create permanent 301 redirects for each of the errors to other similar pages, in this way the user will not see anything strange and Google will consider the error to be solved while giving the new URL the authority that the address could have previously.
404 errors
When a URL does not exist but the server returns a 404 error or file not found.Similar to the previous point, but in this case there is no doubt in the eyes of Google that it is a URL that no longer exists. Either it does not load or returns an error, and not even the HTTP headers indicate otherwise.
How do I solve it?
In the same way that it would solve a mild 404 error, redirecting to related pages through permanent 301s.
Access denied
Unlike the previous errors, the robots could track these addresses but they cannot access them.
How do I solve it?
These errors can be due to three factors:
- We are blocking certain URLs through robots.txt,
- That our hosting provider is preventing Google from accessing certain sections of our page.
- We have some type of access to the web through username and password that prevents robots from accessing the content.

Not Followed

Label Pages:

Excluded categories:
Here we will mark what we do not want search engines to index. They will appear blank if you have not created categories yet.

In this section, we can insert the id of the pages that we do not want Google to index us, separated by commas.
