Challenges

Despite the noble aim and excellent products, Beco was experiencing some search engine challenges and approached WebSpero Solutions for the following issues:

  • No Results in AI Overviews: Beco’s content was not optimized for Search Generative Experience (SGE), reducing its visibility in AI overviews. 
  • Not Covering “People Also Ask” (PAA) Queries: Its content didn’t address common questions, missing opportunities to appear in AI snippets.
  • Ignoring Long-Tail Keywords: The focus on short-tail keywords meant missing long-tail keywords and conversational phrases in the blogs

Our Approach

To solve the challenges faced by Beco, we implemented multi-layered SEO and Generative Engine Optimization strategies (GEO).

  • Topic Research Based on User Intent: We analyzed People Also Ask (PAA) questions to understand what users were searching for. We used SEMrush and Google Keyword Planner to identify long-tail keywords, and trending queries like “How long can newborn puppies go without eating?” helped us identify user intent.
  • Content Creation: By using user queries and intent, we created in-depth, research-backed blog posts addressing specific pet care concerns like “What to Feed Dogs With Diarrhoea” and “What Not to Feed a Dog With Diarrhoea.” These blogs also included comparison tables, infographics, and charts like “break down the duration a puppy can go without food based on their age” to make the content more engaging and informative.
  • Internal Linking Optimization: To improve content discoverability by AI search engines and to provide a seamless user experience, we strategically internally linked related articles. For example, we linked “What to Feed Dogs With Diarrhoea” to “Can Dogs Eat Carrots?” This ensured a logical content hierarchy.
  • FAQs Integration: We added a FAQ section under each blog to address common questions directly. This increased user experience and the likelihood of content being featured in AI overviews. We added FAQs like
    • How Much Chicken & Rice Should I Feed My Dog With Diarrhoea?
    • Is Scrambled Egg Good For Dogs With Diarrhoea?
    • Can Chicken Give Dogs Diarrhoea?
