Challenges
Corcoran Cayman approached us, needing a complete website solution from scratch. Other things they wanted our help with included:
- Integration with CIREBA (Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association) to pull the latest property listings.
- Including a mortgage calculator on each property page for payment estimations.
- Developing a user-friendly search form allowing property filtering by location, price range, etc.
- Ensuring search results display properties by their unique MLS numbers.
Approach
In response to the challenges faced by Corcoran, we built their new website using WordPress due to its flexibility and extensive plugin ecosystem. This choice allowed us to create a visually appealing and functional website that could easily integrate with the required tools and services. Here’s how we addressed the other challenges:
- We integrated Internet Data Exchange (IDX) with CIREBA (Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association), allowing the website to display accurate and current property listings directly from Cireba databases.
- We developed a mortgage calculator and embedded it on each property page for quick payment estimations.
- Furthermore, a custom search form was also created, enabling users to filter properties based on location, price range, and property type.
- We also designed the search results page to display properties according to their unique MLS numbers.
