122.29% Increase in Topflight Dubia’s AI Overview Rankings: Generative Engine Optimization

Approach

To solve the challenges faced by Topflight Dubia, we implemented multi-layered SEO and Generative Engine Optimization strategies (GEO). 

• Research Top-of-the-Funnel Keywords: Conducted extensive keyword research to identify top-of-funnel (TOFU) keywords. We focused on informational and educational queries to attract a broader audience, like “Can Bearded Dragons Eat Broccoli?”, “Nutritional Benefits of Dubia Roaches,” “Male vs. Female Dubia Roaches,” and “Life Cycle of Dubia Roaches.” Next, we targeted long-tail keywords and utilized Google’s People Also Ask (PAA) snippets to capture specific user intent.
• Develop a Comprehensive Blogging Strategy: Crafted detailed, educational, and SEO-optimized blog posts with proper keyword placement, headings, and meta descriptions. 
  • For instance, we created a blog titled “Can Bearded Dragons Eat Broccoli?” This covered the nutritional benefits like vitamins, minerals, and fiber, along with high-quality images of broccoli and bearded dragons. 
  • Similarly, our content specialists wrote a blog that highlighted the physical as well as behavioral differences between male and female dubia roaches, titled “Male vs. Female Dubia Roaches: Key Differences.”
  • Lastly, we added FAQs under each blog to improve on-page engagement and answer user queries quickly.

• Optimize Internal and External Linking: We strengthened internal linking between related blogs to streamline site structure and user navigation and increase retention rates. Likewise, we cited authoritative sources (external links) to build trust and SEO ranking. 
• Use High-Quality, Real Images: To help users understand the content better and enable search generative engines to recommend Topflight Dubia, we added real images of dubia roaches. We also created custom infographics, nutritional charts, and the life cycle of dubia roaches, boosting user engagement.
